Tony’s Perfect Date With Jess: Watching Football!
Call me crazy, but I remember a time when Jessica Simpson HATED sports and never liked to accompany her husband, Nick Lachey to events without a lot of whining. So after dating Tony Romo, suddenly she is the biggest sports fan in the world? Fess up Jessica-you probably didn’t like sports until you saw your man on the field! Because obviously someone like Tony would not be dating a girl that hates what he does for a living.
Tony even says that a great date night for them in watching sports! That makes me sad. Ladies, when any guy thinks that you like watching sports that much to let it become a “date” than there is trouble. Unless of course you do love sports that much!
Describing his perfect date with Jessica, Tony says, “Probably get a little bite to eat and probably watch a football game; that’s our perfect evening. … It’s exciting for both of us because I found someone I get to hang with … and she really embraces the game and really wants to see our team do well, and it’s great to have someone like that.”
Of course, Tony was asked if he had any marriage or baby news for him and Jess. He replied,
“None that I can think of. I’m sure you guys can tell me something new here soon enough though.”

She used to be a cheerleader and her Grandfather was a football coach and she still hated football. I think she is a huge hypocrite. She just bought Tony a boat for his birthday. I wonder what he’ll get her for her birthday next month.

I think if you date someone you really like who actually is a football player, it would be natural to want him to do well when he is playing and to get more intune with the game and excited when he and his team win.
Also people change. It was like 5 years ago when she was with Nick and was not interested in watching football. I hated football when I was younger and I had one boyfriend who actually made it fun to watch. I wont say that I was a major football fan but I could tolerate it and not be completely bored.
