MTV Movie Awards: Best and Worst Fashion

It’s MTV Movie Awards time! Usually this awards show is pretty tame when it comes to crazy outfits, but I have a few that I loved.

Tonight, my obsession is Balmain. Both of my best dressed were outfitted in Balmain and they looked amazing!

Mila Kunis wore a simple black top and a gorgeous metallic skirt both by Balmain. I would die for that skirt. It’s the perfect piece to dress up a casual tee. I am also loving the sleek straight hair with the center part look. Of course, I am biased these days since Mila is one of my favorite Hollywood actresses! I also love Emma Stone- she is always able to be funny and sexy at the same time. That is such an important quality in an actress since so many of them are borderline trashy lately. Hello, Blake Lively?!

I also loved Leighton Meester silver sparkly Balmain mini dress. She always takes risks and it paid off tonight! Sometimes she goes a little too crazy for my personal taste, but I appreciate that she doesn’t have to play it safe all the time.

My worst dressed was definitely Amanda Bynes. I HATE the Herve Leger dress trend. It had its moment and now it should be over. I don’t understand why all of these starlets feel the need to be crammed into these dresses. They all look the same so once you have done that look, you should be able to move on. Amanda looks like she is trying way too hard. Also, her Louboutins were amazing several months ago, but now I have already seen them on two of the Kardashians’ so the novelty has worn off. I don’t even like them with her dress.

I am liking Jason Sudeikis as the host. He has enough personality to keep the show going. I loved when Reese Witherspoon accepted the Generation Award and pointed out that you don’t have to have a reality show or naked pictures to get somewhere in the business. Obviously, these days it seems like the two go hand in hand. It was refreshing that such a big time actress could call out those people that are famous for doing nothing. You know Blake Lively was cringing in her seat and texting Leonardo DiCaprio. It is so obvious that Blake was in the naked pictures that have been released…she should have covered her face. Sorry honey, Reese is going to call you out!
