Molly Malaney & Jason Mesnick Get Hitched!

They actually went through with it! After dumping his first choice (Melissa Rycroft) on The Bachelor over a year ago, Jason Mesnick wed his second choice, Molly Malaney! I have to say that I never thought these two would actually get married even when they got engaged in October!

The wedding took place on Saturday afternoon at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The only downside? The rain poured during the outdoor ceremony! Among the 250 guests were Bachelor alum Trista and Ryan Sutter, Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, Charlie O’Connell, plus Lost star Evangeline Lilly.

Molly wore a gorgeous, custom-made Monique Lhuillier dress and had her hair styled by Ken Paves. The couple married underneath an altar of white flowers, orchids, and branches. American Idol alum, Jason Castro sang “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” as Molly walked down the aisle to meet Jason. Of course, Jason’s son Ty acted as the ring bearer.

Molly and Jason have been living together in Seattle since September and so Ty has probably had a chance to get used to his new stepmother!

The wedding was filmed for a special airing on ABC on March 8th. Molly and Jason are only the second couple to actually tie the knot from meeting on The Bachelor.
