TV Scoop: Dancing With The Stars

Oh my, what a hot mess some of the DWTS competitors were! I couldn’t have cared less to watch this show last season, but I have to say that this particular cast made me intrigued to see what was going to happen when some of them hit the dance floor.

The front runner is definitely Nicole Scherzinger. She dances for a living and claims that it isn’t the same, but if you are able to dance than you are more likely to pick up other forms of dance. Melissa Rycroft was a Dallas Cowboy’s Cheerleader and she was one of the most naturally gifted dancers that we have ever seen on that show. I thought she was going to win her season!

I thought Evan Lysacek was going to be amazing, but he was merely decent. I can see him improving a lot over the course of competition. He could end up being one of the best males. I definitely think he will be better than Bachelor Jake. Did you see Vienna in the audience? How staged by ABC was that? I wonder how many days left we have of them being a couple. It just seems so forced.

I missed Shannon Doherty’s dance, but I know that she didn’t do that well. Another dance that was much anticipated was Kate Gosselin. You are going to leave your kids to dance like THAT for us? She was awkward and it made me uncomfortable watching her. To be fair, she probably felt like she was being judged more than the other contestants so I will cut her some slack.

Buzz and Niecy Nash are cute. I like their personalities for the show.

PAM ANDERSON. OMG. She was tossing that hair around like she was in an 80′s rock video. I have to say that she did better than I expected. I am not sure how many people are going to vote for her, but I am guessing that the men want her around for awhile!

Did you guys like Brooke Burke as the new host? I think she did a good job. She is an improvement over Samantha Harris for sure. I would have liked to see Melissa Rycroft as the host because of her personality, but I guess they decided to go with another choice!

I miss Julianne Hough as one of the professional dancers. At least we have Derek!
