The Bachelor Scoop: Brad Proposes To Emily Maynard!

Brad Womack made a lot of fans happy last night when he proposed to Emily Maynard on The Bachelor finale. You could tell Brad was so confident in that moment. He wanted to propose to Emily so badly!

“You’re so much more to me than a leap of faith. You’re the one. You’re my once in a lifetime,” Womack told Maynard at the Ernie Els Wine Estate in Cape Town, South Africa. “I’m asking you to give me your forever.

“Please let me be your best friend, let me protect you and your beautiful daughter and please give me the opportunity to love you for the rest of your life,” he continued as Emily accepted his proposal.

While the proposal was beautiful and heartfelt, the After The Final Rose special was a little strained.

During the special, Brad admitted that he and Emily have some serious issues to work through. In fact, they had already broken up once! Brad seemed visibly anxious to have to air his relationship problems on TV. The most surprising part was how different Emily seemed on the show vs how she was edited on The Bachelor. She appeared insecure and immature. She basically said that she hated watching any of The Bachelor episodes, she doesn’t want to move to Austin yet, and that she is not ready to get married.

It is sad that Brad initially wanted to have them get married on the After The Final Rose special. Obviously, that was not in the cards.

The general consensus is that Brad feels like he found his dream girl. He does not want to give up on her. Emily, on the other hand, seems less convinced of that. She claims that she loves Brad, but she seems so unsure of herself and her feelings. If this relationship doesn’t last, I think it would be because Emily didn’t want it to.

Popeater is claiming that the couple have already broken up since the taping of the ATFR show.

I really hope that isn’t true!
