Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Isn’t Going Anywhere

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz didn’t let a newborn baby ruin her partying skills on New Year’s Eve! The new mom came out to Vegas in a black bustier to ring in 2009!

“I don’t know if I can have high expectations for 2009 because 2008 was so good,” she told reporters in Las Vegas before celebrating New Year’s Eve at Pure Nightclub. 

Joined by husband Pete Wentz, the new mom sipped champagne and enjoyed one of her first big nights out since giving birth to Bronx Mowgli Wentz in November. 

Baby Bronx was not at the club, instead the new parents decided to leave him in the hotel with a babysitter.

“He’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” she said of the newborn. 

Ashlee also said that 2008 was “the greatest year of my life.” 

The singer managed to get engaged, married, pregnant, and give birth all in 2008! Those are obviously huge milestones for any women, but having them all occur in the same year would be daunting!
