One of the things I have noticed about working retail is that you can never predict what is going to sell. That may be the case when it comes to certain fashions, but these Coralia Leets earrings were a hit from the beginning!

EVERYONE loves these earrings. You will never get so many compliments on jewelry, I am telling you! The best part about the earrings is that they feature real gemstones and the teardrop style is under $200 dollars!

There are so many different stones to choose from-everything from turquoise to labradorite! They are the perfect little pop of color for your summer outfits. They also make great gifts. Who wouldn’t want to receive these?

We checked into the hotel without any major snafus, but the real problem came when we left them in the room and they whined and cried as we walked down the hallway. I was afraid that we were going to get some major complaints from the hotel guests. I guess they eventually stopped crying because we never got a call!

The second ‘obstacle’ occurred when I took the dogs outside to go to the bathroom on the first morning. Everything was going well until we walked back to the hotel and Jaggar started to go to the bathroom IN THE LOBBY. AT THE FOUR SEASONS. Not my proudest moment, but we got past it and the rest of the trip went significantly better.

All of this focus on the dogs made it a little bit harder to be spontaneous with our plans. I have a sense that we might not be bringing them again unless it is a longer trip away. I can only IMAGINE how difficult it is to travel with children!

Army green is THE color of the season. From blazers to dresses, this is the color that you must incorporate into your wardrobe for the fall. The newest trend? Army green leggings with leather! Could you just die? I LOVE this trend. Maggie Ward makes a gorgeous pair of army green leggings with leather panels that are sure to be your new staple. Another thing that I am trying is to order juices and smoothies that are ‘green’ so that I get as many veggies and nutrients as possible during the day. I took a risk and ordered the Super Green smoothie. It was to die for! Not too sweet, not too ‘green’ tasting, just perfect! Here’s a list of all the ingredients in that smoothie.

Organic soy milk, organic apples, organic bananas, organic flax seed, organic hempprotein, spirulina, barley, wheatgrass, alfalfa, chlorophyll, parsley, celery, spinach,watercress

See what I mean? You wouldn’t think all of those ingredients could possibly make a delicious tasting smoothie, but they do!

But I digress…after dinner I saw this new place called Snap Kitchen. I am absolutely obsessed with the trend of healthy food that you can get packaged to go. Basically, the concept is fast food that is healthy and portion controlled. Snap Kitchen looked delicious. Some of the items that they featured were Truffle Quinoa Mac & Cheese, Portabella Mushroom Wraps, Quinoa Fried Rice, and Jalapeno Hummus. I took some Jalapeno hummus and Gluten-free coconut cakes to go!

I have a feeling that I am going to love this place and be a frequent visitor!

There are so many great menu choices that don’t even feel like you are giving up the extra calories! Salmon with quinoa or tacos verde are just a few of the nutrious meals you can order! If you are dying to get ready for summer, try the three week challenge where you choose your menu every couple of days for three weeks. They provide you with breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Delicious!
