Since I’m in the last stretch of pregnancy, I have been avoiding spending tons of money on any sort of maternity clothes. During the entire pregnancy, I have bought two dresses, a pair of jeans, and some leggings.

Because I’m in dire need of a major shopping spree, I have been focusing all of my attention on make-up and beauty products. There are so many amazing products that I am dying to try, but there are not enough hours in the day! In my perfect world, I would use a completely different make-up palette every single day!

Here are some make-up products that I am currently obsessed with! Keep in mind there are tons of other make-up products that I love, but I tried to narrow it down to the things that I wear the most.

Face

Primer

I wish that I had the patience to use primer everyday, but I don’t! I absolutely love it when I use it because it creates the perfect smooth canvas for putting on your make-up. Laura Mercier’s Radiance Primer is a fantastic one! It really helps your make-up adhere to your skin and create that flawless look.

Under Eye Brightener/ Highlighter

I can’t say enough about YSL Touche Eclat. Everyone who uses it becomes obsessed. It is the best under eye brightener/highlighter that I have found. The consistency is perfect and it flatters everyone. I also just bought Loreal’s new Magic Lumi highlighter and it is a great, less expensive option.

Under Eye Concealer

Laura Mercier’s Secret Concealer is the best at providing the coverage against dark circles. I wear this every single day and I can’t get enough! There are a great range of colors so every skin tone can find its perfect match!

Foundation

I actually discovered this foundation (Revlon ColorStay) when I was traveling and forgot to pack my Bobbi Brown foundation stick. I absolutely fell in love with it. I was surprised because I usually only use more expensive brands on my face and this one was just as good as any of those! It has a medium coverage which is perfect for someone like me who hates the mineral make-up look. I buy the Combination/Oily Skin version and I don’t feel near as oily as I used to by the end of the day even with no powder on.  It is fabulous because you can apply it as sheer or as heavy as you need. LOVE it. I also love Make-Up Forever’s HD foundation for when I want a more nighttime look. It creates a nice, flawless finish and feels light on the skin.

Bronzer

I have used tons of bronzers and I always come back to this one: Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer. You can’t beat the color- the perfect natural tan. It works year round. It’s the best. I also love Guerlain for those months when I’m really tan (which is rare these days!) Bronzer is such an essential part of a make-up routine-just a little sweep across the forehead, chin, and cheeks and you are good to go!

Blush

Countless beauty magazines have written about their love for Nars Orgasm Blush. That’s because it achieves that perfect healthy flush- not too pink, not too peach with just the right amount of shimmer. I could not live without this! It is my everyday blush and although I use other blush occasionally, this one will always be my staple.

I was given this Chanel Horizon de Chanel Blush by a friend and I have to say that it is amazing! Not only can you use it as a blush, but you can also use it as an allover highlighter. It has the perfect color combination of  rose, coral and peach and you can choose the way you want to wear it. You can wear them together or wear them separately. I personally love them all swirled together!

Powder

Hands down, Make Up Forever’s MicroFinishing Powder is the best on the market. It is the perfect lightweight powder to ‘set’ your make-up. It makes your skin look flawless and what could be better than that? A little bit goes a long way, so you can rest assured that it will last you for awhile. I don’t wear this everyday, but I love it when I have something special going on or a fun nighttime event.

Concealer

I have been using DiorSkin Sculpting Concealer for years now. I use it to cover up any blemishes or imperfections. I love that it has a radiance instead of being so matte. It also sculpts the skin which is a great added bonus! The only downside is that my color is always sold out when I need it! There are three shades and most people wear the medium color like myself. It is still worth it!
