Blake Lively & Anna Wintour Are Best Friends!

Blake Lively has become a fashion darling since she first appeared on Gossip Girl. For some reason, designers and magazines have flocked to dress her and have her on their covers. This month Blake made the cover of Marie Claire UK and in the issue, she talks about her friendship with the notorious Vogue editor, Anna Wintour.

Blake revealed, “I was speaking with Anna Wintour and we were just talking about different fashion houses and I said, ‘I love Chanel,’ and she said, ‘You should come with me to the show. I also said I loved Dior. She said, “Okay, well I’ll take you to the Chanel and Dior shows and we’ll meet with Karl [Lagerfeld] and John [Galliano] afterwards. So I went to dinner with Karl Lagerfeld and we got to spend a lot of priceless time together. Oh my gosh, riding around in Karl Lagerfeld’s Rolls-Royce with the top down. Insane!’

Can you even imagine? Riding with Karl in his Rolls Royce? I can’t even imagine. Not to mention the fact that they were in the most magical city ever, Paris! Blake should be counting her lucky stars that she is privileged enough to have experiences like this. She is having a ‘moment’ and we all know that it can end at any moment in Hollywood!

Nicole Richie Is InStyle

Nicole Richie graces the cover of the October issue of InStyle UK. In the magazine, she talks about fashion, her children, and how she has moved past difficult times in her life. Here are the highlights:

• On the past: “One thing about me is that I’ve always taken responsibility for my own actions whether they’re good or bad. Even when I was going through my tough time, that was a situation that I created. People ask me, do I blame Hollywood or my parents? No, I don’t blame my parents. It had nothing to do with them. I created it and manifested it and I got myself through it with the help of a lot of great people.”
• On tattoo regrets: “I’m a Virgo and the sign is a virgin. So when I was 16, I got the word virgin tattooed on my wrist, thinking I was sooo deep and cool. And now I just look really weird having virgin written across my wrist and I have to explain it.”
• On pregnancy: “Being pregnant with Harlow was easy. I was wearing heels for eight months. I never got sick and I was like, ‘Oh, what are people talking about?’ But with Sparrow, I was so sick. And my feet were swelling. They were polar opposite pregnancies.”
• On Harlow: “She picks her own clothes. It’s a 20-minute thing — it begins at 7:30 each morning — but it is what it is and it’s fine.”

I just love Nicole Richie. I have so much respect for people who have turned their life around after making some mistakes. It takes a lot for someone to own up to their past and not blame other people. Lindsay Lohan (the queen of excuses) should take note. You look at Nicole who has a fiance and two wonderful children and then you look at Paris Hilton- there is no comparison. Paris is still partying like she is 21 years old.

Kat Von D: “I’m With Jesse!”

Kat Von D is ready to make it known that she is seriously dating, Jesse James. The two posed for pictures together at the opening of her Wonderland gallery on Thursday night. US Weekly has the scoop:

“I think I learned a long time ago, even before the show, that it really doesn’t matter in the big picture [what anyone thinks],” she told UsMagazine.com. ” All that stuff isn’t important. I want to lead by example and do my best.”

Asked if she’s happy, she said, “Yes.”

She previously said that she first met James when she was 22 — when he had a program on the Discovery Channel — before things got romantic this summer.

“I think it was something that was spontaneous,” she told Us. “It definitely wasn’t planned.”

She’s been to his new home in Austin, Tx — where James’ ex Bullock, 46, also owns a home — and has met his kids, Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6.

“Jesse took me to a really neat antique shop,” Von D told Us. “So we went in and hung out. I got an old drawing, engraving Beethoven.”

Asked if James was involved in her gallery, she said, “Yeah, were together. Duh.”

Kat went on to say that she didn’t pay attention to all of the hoopla regarding Jesse and Sandra’s divorce. Of course she didn’t. I just feel like flaunting her relationship with him this soon is just tacky. Yes, Jesse and Sandra are divorced, but his reputation is so damaged. I guess they both want to work hard to turn that around. These two look like they belong together.

Lindsay Lohan Talks To Vanity Fair!

Lindsay Lohan sat down with Vanity Fair to talk about her past drug use, her acting career, and the goals she has for herself.

On her supposed alcohol addiction: “If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a [scram] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I’m taking and my father says I’m taking — so that says something, because I was fine.”

On denying drug abuse: “I’ve never abused prescription drugs. I never have — never in my life. I have no desire to. That’s not who I am. I’ve admitted to the things that I’ve done — to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things ’cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, O.K., ’cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it.”

On hanging out with the wrong crowd: “So many people around me would say they cared for the wrong reasons. A lot of people were pulling from me, taking from me and not giving. I had a lot of people that were there for me for, you know, the party.”

On her father, Michael Lohan: “I think if anyone should be looked at medically it’s him. He has such a big chemical imbalance at this point because of all the things he’s done to himself. … The worst part of it is you turn around and you see your dad crying and normally you’d be, like, happy that your father’s there. But then he has to go and do an interview right after.”

On her career being far from over: “I want my career back. I know that I’m a damn good actress, and it’s been my passion since I was a child, and I know that when I care about something, I put 100 percent and more into it. … I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, then so be it. It’s not fun anyway. I don’t care. It’s the same thing every time.”

I really want to believe that Lindsay is turning over a new leaf, but I find it hard to believe that she still can’t admit that she has a problem. I went to college and I was never arrested or put in rehab. Putting ‘experimenting’ and ‘college’ in the same sentence just does not make sense!

I think I am most excited about seeing David Hasselhoff and The Situation on the dance floor. How sad is that? I’m surprised that ABC decided not to have Ali and Roberto as part of the cast. I think Audrina will provide some entertainment as the token ‘bombshell’ of the group. Bristol Palin is no doubt going to embarrass herself even further. Did you see her acting cameo? She has absolutely no stage presence.

The Best & Worst Dressed: The Emmy Awards 2010

I was not completely over-the-top in love with the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. This happens because it is the first awards show of the season and most of actresses tend to play it safe. I saw a lot of navy, black, and white dresses. There was also a lot of the one-shoulder trend which really surprised me. I did love how some actresses chose to wear such unexpected colors like lavender and burgundy. Although many women looked amazing, I thought I would see more fashion forward dresses! And no, I am not talking to you, January Jones- your dress was daring, but hideous!

I hope that everyone steps it up for the Golden Globes and the Oscars!

Here are some of my favorites for the night:

Claire Danes has never looked better. The actress glowed in a beaded Armani Prive gown. I know this style has been ‘done’ but I think she looked amazing. The dress fit her body like a glove and it doesn’t look like she is trying to hard.

Although Lea Michele tries so hard, I have to admit that I liked her dress last night. The singer wore a very on-trend navy strapless Oscar de la Renta dress. The silhouette of the dress was stunning and it didn’t overwhelm her. I didn’t like her hair. It was too all over the place and the color looked washed out and brassy.

Nina Dobrev looked beautiful last night in her nude colored lace Zuhair Murad dress. She can basically wear anything and make it look like a million bucks!

Kyra Sedgewick always chooses the perfect dress for each red carpet event. I love that she chose burgundy for her gorgeous Monique Lhuillier dress. It was age appropriate, flattering, and sophisticated at the same time. I can’t wait to see what she decides to wear for the Golden Globes!

Emily Blunt is another actress that always makes fantastic choices on the carpet. I loved her lavender dress with the intricate detailing on the bust and down the skirt. The color was gorgeous and a nice change from the navy, black, and white dresses.

Christina Hendricks is absolutely an Old Hollywood bombshell. It is so refreshing to see someone like her on the red carpet. She looked drop dead beautiful in her lavender Zac Posen gown. I am obsessed with all of the simple detail on this dress- the draping, the shoulders, the feathers-love it!

Kim Kardashian looked chic and sophisticated in her Grecian-inspired white Marchesa dress. I love the embellished detail around the neckline. It was unexpected from Kim, but it was a nice change of pace for her. I love that she wore white. I love a nice white dress on the red carpet. I am so over seeing black everywhere!

And for the worst dressed…January Jones. I have to give her credit for making a risky choice. Between her bed head and the 80′s feel of the Versace dress, I just didn’t like it. I wish that she had chosen something in that color that was more sleek and fitted. The color would have made enough of a statement without adding all of that elaborate detail to it. She is such a pretty girl and I know she will get it right next time.

Kat Von D and Jesse James Are Dating!

It seems like those rumors about Jesse James and Kat Von D are true! The pair were spotted spending quality time together in Fredericksburg, Texas this weekend. The two decided to do something cultural and visited the Admiral Nimitz Museum in the Texas Hills. Jesse took his new girlfriend on and hour-long motorcycle ride from his home in Austin down to Fredericksburg and X-17 caught the secretive couple!

“Jesse and Kat looked totally head over heels for each other. It’s not just because they both have tattoos that they’re a perfect match, these two were just so comfortable together and looked like they’d been boyfriend-girlfriend forever.”

After spending the afternoon in town, the two headed back home — helmets on, Kat’s arms around Jesse’s waist, and off onto the highway:

“Kat cuddled up behind Jesse and it was like true biker romance!”

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie had a gorgeous, but brief honeymoon in Cabo and they are sharing the pictures with OK! Magazine!

I love how these two look so completely down to earth in every picture! So cute!

Mike had to get back to work so the honeymoon was only four days. Hilary has already been spotted shopping and hitting the gym. The newlywed life certainly has perks for the new Mrs. Comrie.

Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Split

Well, we all knew that it was just a matter of time before these two split. MTV News has the scoop:

“E! News reports that earlier this month, Hemsworth was seen flirting with admirers at a party in Newport Beach and hooking up with another young woman while partying in Huntington Beach during the US Open Surf Competition. Cyrus, 17, has been in Detroit filming the flick “LOL.”

“Ever since she left for Detroit, Miley has been super focused on her work,” a source described as an “insider close to the former couple” told E! News. “Liam wanted more, but she’s 17 and has other priorities right now. He’s been a distraction. [Miley's] not with anybody else.”

Despite that assertion, rumors are now circulating that Cyrus may be spending quality time with co-star Adam Sevani. A photo of the pair allegedly hanging out on the set of “LOL” has circulated, although it is unclear if it is actually Sevani in the picture.

Hemsworth, who was seen hanging out alone at a Dave Matthews Band concert earlier this week, has reportedly visited the set of “LOL” twice. “Both visits were only about 24 hours in length — by Miley’s choice,” the insider told E! News. “She is not ready to settle down, and Liam’s not a happy camper.”

Breakup rumors have plagued the duo in the past, and they have been denied by Cyrus. And E! News’ source said that the couple may not be completely over just yet: “They’re both young. To say they are done forever would be premature, but it’s safe to say for now they are doing their own thing.”

It seemed like Miley Cyrus was completely obsessed with Liam! Prepare yourself for super dark hair and ‘edgy’ heartbreak songs! Miley is on the prowl.

Glee Star Naya Rivera Keyed Mark Sallings Car For Cheating!

This is the kind of story I like to see on a Thursday morning. GLEE’s Naya Rivera (Santana) found out that her boyfriend, Mark Salling (Puck) had been seeing other girls this summer and freaked out!

Rivera “went crazy when she read about other girls,” a source tells Us Weekly. “When Naya found out, she and some pals trashed his Lexus.”

Still, Salling’s friend, singer Samantha Marq, defends his behavior.

“He’s on top of the world right now and living it up,” she tells Us. “Besides, it’s hard to call it infidelity when they weren’t officially together!”

I like her style. Keying his car? That is pretty awesome. I am sure that Naya thought they were exclusive, but Mark obviously had other plans! There had been rumors that he was hooking up with everyone from Audrina Patridge to Lindsay Lohan. Can you imagine how awkward it would be on the GlEE set?

I am obsessing over this Joseph Leather A-line dress. I love how the silhouette looks classic without appearing boring. This is a completely new take on the leather mini. I would wear this dress during the day time with a cropped cardigan and simple nude heels. At night, I would dress it up with nude pumps and a gorgeous camel bag (the one in the picture is Marni). When wearing a leather piece, make it the focal point of your outfit. There is no need to pair this with leopard pumps. It needs to be center stage!

Jennifer Aniston To Appear On Cougar Town!

Jennifer Aniston will be acting opposite Courteney Cox on the season 2 premiere of Cougar Town (airing September 22nd). The show’s creator, Bill Lawrence has some new details about Jen’s character.

“She’s going to play Courteney’s shrink named Bonnie,” exec producer Bill Lawrence tells EW. “Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist. Those guys are so close in real life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life [Courteney's character] Jules’ wishes she has.”

Lawrence adds, “It starts and ends with Courteney and Jennifer being really great friends and excited to work together again—especially doing comedy together. Every day that those two talk they have more ideas about [the role]. It’s definitely something they’re both involved in creatively.”

I actually think this is a good move for Jennifer. She needs to get back to acting on the small screen. I loved her guest starring role on 30 Rock so I hope this character is even better than that one. I also LOVE Courteney Cox and I think she was always underrated on Friends.  It is nice to see her appreciated for a change!

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Are Officially Divorced

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are no longer man and wife! The couple released this statement on Tiger’s website:

“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.

“Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”

According to court documents, the couple have been living apart since November. They will also share custody of their two children.

I can’t believe all that has happened in the last 9 months between these two! At least Elin can get on with her life now!
